Ensures that preventative maintenance procedures are completed daily. Plans projects and repairs to equipment and facility. Trouble shoots and responds to emergencies quickly. Responsible for the day to day repairs of all equipment in laundry facility
Job Duties: Ensures that assigned tasks are completed in a timely fashion. Records completed repairs, projects and preventative maintenance done in daily log. Reports all major problems to plant manager and makes every effort to resolve it. Keeps a safe and clean environment and promotes safety standards to line employees. Works aggressively and keeps abreast of current trends in industry. Attends all training sessions and staff meetings. Ensures that all tools are kept responsibly securing them daily. Follows all company policies as set out in the employee handbook and ensure subordinates compliance. Reports to work on time and as scheduled. Changes light bulbs and other fixtures in plant. Conducts routine blow downs on facility and machinery. Reads and records water, diesel & propane tank measurements daily. Services and repairs valet equipment, washer extractors, tunnels, dryers, pumps and all other pieces of equipment necessary for facility to run properly. Reads schematics and troubleshoot equipment aggressively. Understands mechanics and electronics. Performs all other duties that may be required from time to time.
Job Requirements: College degree preferred but not essential Minimum job experience level five years in an Engineer or similar position Working knowledge of boilers, compressors, irons, mechanics and electronics. Similar work history in laundry preferred but not essential Computer literacy in: Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Microsoft PowerPoint
