Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting
Job SummaryThe School of Business is seeking candidates who will teach a minimum of 24 credit hours per semester at the undergraduate and graduate level in the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting.
The ability to work with people of diverse cultural and educational backgrounds is mandatory. Other duties include University and division committee assignments, student advisement, and research and scholarly activities.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in Accounting as well as teaching experience in a comparable higher education setting. Candidates with an ABD with a definite completion date may be considered. Practical experience in the discipline is essential; evidence of successful teaching at the college level is preferred.
While performing job duties, employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, reach, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close, distance and color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Work environment: The noise level in the work environment will probably be moderate.
