Job Summary

Under the authority of the Country Director and ACTED Finance Director, the Country Finance Manager is responsible for the accounting and financial management of ACTED in his country of assignment.

Job Description

It also ensures respect for the legal framework of the country and the application of the specific rules of the mission. This, with the constant concern to defend the interests of the association and the proper use of resources.


1. Accounting and financial management

  • Accounting management
  • Finance management
  • Validation of expenditure commitment


2. Budget management

  • Ensure the budgetary follow-up of the mission
  • Developing project budgets for the mission


3. Team management

  • Management of the financial department
  • Procedures and flow of information


Qualifications and technical skills required

  • Masters degree in Finance or any other subject related to the mission
  • 3 years experience in financial management, preferably on major development programs
  • Excellent financial and analytical skills
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills for all reporting, reporting
  • Ability to manage teams
  • Ability to evaluate and train staff in finance.
  • Ability to work in an intercultural environment and be flexible
  • Knowledge of the area of ??assignment is a plus
  • Total control of the Office Pack
