Job Summary

This position reports to the AVP, Compensation and Benefits and works closely with the VP, Group HR Programmes.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing Group HR data for a portfolio of business clients in all related systems in support of HR Business Partners, as well as providing scheduled and ad hoc reports and performing salary survey analysis and job analysis.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • preparing monthly scheduled employee reporting for the Butterfield Group including ad hoc reporting
  • performing analysis of Group data to identify 
  • trends and variances and ensure consistent 
  • application of HR structures and programmes
  • performing job analysis and providing input on 
  • appropriate titles, levels and salary ranges
  • updating and maintaining employee records and salary information in the HRIS according to identified standards
  • managing data for payroll and other adjunct HR systems
  • compiling Group data for all relevant group processes
  • assisting with and leading projects related to compensation reporting, including compensation and benefit survey completion, and maintenance of human resources data
  • assisting with payroll processing
  • assisting with the annual compensation process
  • assisting with the administration of Butterfield's stock option plans

Your experience/skills may include:

  • university degree in business administration or human resources or equivalent
  • qualification with a minimum of five years' experience
  • advanced proficiency with MS Office and HRIS databases through hands-on experience
  • ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • strong communication skills
  • knowledge of local employment legislation
  • proven ability to provide strong customer service and effectively manage multiple priorities
