Job SummaryThe post-holder provides high quality medical imaging and related healthcare services for clients in a safe and effective manner. He/she works across BHB sites as required to ensure optimal coverage of Imaging Services over a 24 hour period.
The Imaging Technologist may be required to rotate through the imaging modalities to gain experience and/or credentials to work in specialized areas based on certifications. The modalities include Radiology, CAT Scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Bone Density, General and Cardiac Ultrasound.
Associates/Bachelor’s degree in Medical Imaging or Radiologic Technology, Registration/certification from an accredited programme: Radiology, CAT Scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Bone Density, General and Cardiac Ultrasound, General and Cardiac Ultrasound – 1 -2 years’ post graduate experience, Registered (and credentials maintained by Allied Health Council (Bermuda) standards, Maintains BCLS, Maintains IV Certification
