Job SummaryThe University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech, Jamaica) seeks to identify a suitable candidate to fill the post of Administrative Support 2 in the Faculty of Education and Liberal Studies.
The Administrative Support 2 will provide confidential secretarial and administrative support services to the Faculty. This involves carrying out effective and efficient communication and liaison, establishing and maintaining administrative systems, preparing and maintaining various types and forms of documents and records, and extracting and organizing data/information in the required format.
- The preferred applicant will possess a Diploma in Business/Management or equivalent;
- at least two (2) years experience in a secretarial post;
- sound knowledge of standard office procedures and practices, records and file management systems;
- good communication, interpersonal and computer skills.
