We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Recruitment & Talent Management to join our Human Resources team and contribute to talent acquisition, talent management, employee retention, and workforce development initiatives across the Bank.

 

Position Overview:

The Assistant Manager, Recruitment & Talent Management is responsible for supporting the Human Resources department in the areas of recruitment, talent management, performance management, planning, onboarding, employee retention, compliance, and HR administration. The role is responsible for maintaining HR systems and data integrity, ensuring adherence to HR policies and procedures, and providing guidance and support to employees and managers on human resources matters. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Human Resources function by supporting workforce planning initiatives and enhancing the employee experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Coordinate and administer pre-employment assessments, reference checks, background screenings, and employment offers.
  • Facilitate onboarding activities to ensure a positive and seamless new hire experience.
  • Support employee retention initiatives by analyzing workforce trends, conducting exit interviews, and assisting with employee surveys.
  • Administer and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support performance management, succession planning, and talent management initiatives across the organization.
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and review of Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Generate HR reports and analyze workforce metrics to support business decisions and strategic workforce planning.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on Human Resources policies, processes, and best practices.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and the employee experience.


Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' Human Resources experience.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees, candidates, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities, deadlines, and multiple HR initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and recommend practical solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team oriented environment.
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive employee and organizational information.
  • Results oriented with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work.
