Business Technology Solutions Consultant - Architect Salesforce

ZS's Business Technology Group helps companies define and execute their technology strategy by designing, building and operating their business intelligence (BI), cloud, data management, dashboard and analytics capabilities. Team members strategize, design and build custom IT solutions to improve our clients’ commercial effectiveness.

The Solution Delivery team implements technology-based solutions in the areas of business intelligence, analytics, information management, reporting and mobility. In addition, this team configures ZS’s proprietary software used to streamline business processes for commercial groups at client organizations. This team takes overall ownership of the delivery of the technical solution leading the design and development phases and collaborating with other teams for business requirements and system testing.

Responsibilities

• Ownership to ensure the proposed design/ architecture, deliverables meets the client expectation and solves the business problem with high degree of quality; Conduct architecture workshops and other enablement sessions. Mentor and guide junior enterprise architects
• Conduct POCs, develop demos and assessments of the latest tools, clouds and other offerings from Salesforce
• Bring in thought leadership by driving innovations, develop technical ad delivery related assets, accelerators and POVs
• Actively contribute to pre-sales activities such as understanding of client needs and RFP documents, formulate technical questions, help with overall approach & solution definition, pre, conduct POCs/demos and estimations.
• Actively lead unstructured problem solving to design and build complex solutions, tune to meet expected performance and functional requirements;

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or other computer related disciplines
• Must have total of 10 – 15 years of IT experience with at least 8+ years of relevant experience architecting Salesforce solutions for global clients
• Expert level understanding of configuration & customization of Salesforce Clouds such as Sales, Service, Marketing, CPQ & Community along with strong hands-on data modeling experience
• Strong experience in Salesforce Apex Classes, Controllers, Triggers, Batch, Validation Rules, Workflow, Approval process, Flows, Reports and Dashboards, User Management, Governor limits, Security model and deployment practices
• Strong experience in integrating Salesforce with key enterprise systems such as ERP, HR, data lakes/data warehouses etc. leveraging integration patterns, cloud services (AWS/Azure) and developing data migration strategy
• Good understanding of DevOps process for Salesforce applications including setting up code repository, code deployment strategy and experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Copado or Flosum will be preferred
• Certifications: Application Architect, Sharing and Visibility, PD2 and Integration architect
• Experience working on Health cloud, Marketing cloud, Einstein analytics, Field service lightning, Vlocity and Veeva will be an added advantage
• Experience working in a large SI, with Global experience, including nearshore and offshore
• Strong understanding of CRM processes – including lead to cash, case management and marketing journeys
• Should be able to lead requirements gathering sessions and client workshops to understand the business processes and convert them into technical requirements
• Experience working with pre-sales teams to understand new project opportunity, help with developing proposal response, lead solution design, delivery approach and estimation
• Experience in leading design and delivery of multi-country implementations – involving design of country specific processes, integration with enterprise systems, data migration, phased roll-out and leading large teams
• Excellent written and oral communication along with good client facing presentation skills
