Job SummaryThis position is responsible for scheduling patients for procedures including pre-registration, pre-operative teaching, orientation of unit and physical assessment, medication reconciliation; circulate procedures to assist with instrumentation.
Hazards & Physical Requirements:
This work is categorized as medium work type, which includes the ability to exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and or up to 10 lbs constantly, standing and or walking for up to 8 hours per day and sitting for up to 1 hour per day. Exposure to toxic/caustic chemicals, combinable diseases, blood and body fluids.
Education and Experience:
Must have successfully completed an approved Radiology Program and passed the ARRT certification exam or the equivalent.
ARRT (R) certification or the equivalent. Current VI Radiology license. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, ACLS certification.
