The Nevis Tourism Authority (NTA) seeks a suitably qualified professional to fill the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

 

The NTA is a statutory company based on Nevis and is charged with the mandate to promote Nevis as a tourism destination. At the NTA, we have an established team that creatively propels tourism on Nevis, to establish Nevis as a premier tourism destination. JOB PROFILE:

To accomplish the NTA’s mission and vision along with the overall management of the NTA. He/She is to pursue organizational objectives to attract visitors to Nevis and implement policies and initiatives approved by the Board of Directors.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The suitable candidate should have a first degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Finance or Tourism. A higher degree is an asset. At least ten years working experience in a leadership role. Tourism experience and an understanding of Nevis’ tourism product is a plus. Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and strong communication skills are a must.

 

RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE but are not limited to the following:

  1. The general oversight of all the NTA’s activities locally, regionally and internationally and the management of the day to day operations to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  2. Direction of and communication the entire NTA team.
  3. The overall direction and effective operations of the NTA.
  4. Collaborate and work with other tourism organizations to establish partnerships to further the promotion of Nevis as a tourism destination.
  5. Ensure that annual budgets are prepared and expertly managed.
  6. Ensure competent communications with international marketing representatives and tourism industry stakeholders.
  7. Design, facilitate and implement an annual marketing plan for the NTA that includes local, regional and international objectives and activities.
