Who are we
Acted works with 19 million people in 43 countries at the intersection of humanitarian aid, development, and climate and environmental programs. Through deep understanding of local contexts and the adoption of emerging technologies, we save lives, alleviate suffering, and protect and restore our planet. Working with a growing ecosystem of local, national, and international partners, we pursue a common goal: a 3Zero world: Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, Zero Poverty.
Who are we looking for?
You bring the key skills expected of a humanitarian and development worker, as well as an active climate and environmental awareness, and you can navigate the challenges that arise when environmental and human suffering intersect. You have an entrepreneurial spirit: you identify opportunities, connect the dots, adapt your approach to different environments, and take calculated risks in pursuit of results. You combine principles with pragmatism, and ambition with humility.

Acted currently works in five departments in Haiti: Grand'Anse, Sud, Sud-Est, Ouest, and Centre, and will soon be operating in Nippes.
Regarding Acted's major achievements in 2020-2021:

Current activities include delivering drinking water, distributing hygiene kits, and carrying out sanitation and water network rehabilitation work. Other activities include distributing food, providing emergency financial aid, distributing essential goods, and, soon, establishing housing solutions for the most vulnerable people in 12 municipalities across the three departments.
