Digital Communications Manager

As the digital communications manager onboard one of Holland America Line’s vessels you will effectively manage shipboard internet services (guest and crew) internet and mobile phone/devices, to achieve or exceed budgeted financial and guest satisfaction goals in compliance with policies, procedures and set targets. The individual most qualified for this position will lead by example in matters of professionalism, ethic, responsibility, integrity, and personal presentation.

Essential Functions:

• Manages the delivery of internet services to guests and crew, in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Regular conducts basic technical troubleshooting as instructed by various shore side departments as needed. 
• Ensures proper maintenance, functionality, and availability of crew communication services, vending machines, and office equipment
• Conducts digital basics workshops in compliance with the program’s policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Working in IT management, marketing, and sales experience 
• Previous travel, tourism or cruise industry experience preferred
• Proficient in PC/Wireless networks, and other PC software applications 
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Power Point, Publisher, and Excel
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English; multi-lingual a plus
