Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of Financial Accounting Clerk to be attached to the Finance Department.


  • Diploma in Accounting, finance, economics or related field required; or Certified Accounting Technician Level 2
  • 3+ years of related experience and/or training
  • Basic knowledge of related regulations, Company policies and procedures, and the Company’s products and services.

The Financial Accounting Clerk is responsible for performing analytical and operational support duties within the Finance Department.


  • Responsible for the daily interface of the payments into the payables module, balancing, voucher building, and linking of all invoices processed.
  • Ensures accounting codes and amount on requisitions are correct.
  • Responsible for completion of the pay cycles, including check printing and distribution, processing attachments, facilitating manual check signatures, and generating payment registers.
  • Log, redistribute, notify and verify payments, ensuring all payments are processed promptly and accurately and that appropriate procedures have been complied with.
  • Ensure all appropriate paperwork is available and properly authorized to enable maximum discounts and credits to be obtained and which can be easily accessed for queries, VAT and Audit purposes.
