General Manager Operations
Job SummaryThe South-West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA) is pleased to invite suitably qualified persons to forward applications to fill the vacancy of General Manager Operations at the SWRHA.
The General Manager Operations will provide leadership to technical teams of professionals with responsibility for providing effective and highly efficient services in support of direct patient care at Health Care Institutions of the South-West Regional Health Authority.
He/She will be responsible for formulating and ensuring the implementation of operational strategies, which meet the expectation of a diverse client-base and are aligned to the Authority’s strategic objectives. The General Manager Operations will contribute as a member of the Senior Management Team in the Authority’s Transformation Thrust.
Required Qualifications, Training and Experience:
- The incumbent must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited University.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Engineering.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Facility Management or Health Services Management will be considered an asset.
- At least ten (10) years relevant experience of which five (5) must be at a senior management level.
Certificates acquired at foreign universities MUST be supported by certified transcripts as well as evidence that the completed programme is accredited in Trinidad and Tobago.
