Palm Island Resort & Spa is seeking a passionate Human Resource Manager to be responsible for coordinating all administrative activities related to the organization’s personnel.

 

The main duties include developing recruitment strategies, implementing systems for managing staff benefits and onboarding new employees on the Island. The candidate must be energetic, engaging, flexible and motivated.

 

Duties & Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 3 Years’ Experience in the same position in 4 / 5 Stars All Inclusive Resorts – Caribbean.
  • Hiring, Recruitment, Orientation and Training of new Employees.
  • Administrative Documentation relative to Contracts, Job descriptions, Disciplinary Actions, Uniforms, Vacation….
  • Develop the Workplace atmosphere.
  • Responsible for the Conflicts Resolution.
  • Ensure Employees Health and Safety Work Environment.
  • Ensure Positive Reinforcement.
  • Ensure the Company’s Compliance with Local Rules & Regulations.
  • Ensure all company HR Policies are applied consistently.
  • Partner with Management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with Business initiatives.
  • Maintain HR Systems and Processes.
  • Conduct Employees Performance and Salary review.
  • Possess strong Management, Organization, Communication & Skills.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Excellent Leadership Skills
  • Good Interpersonal skills and empathy.
  • Command of HR Technology.
  • Excellent Training and Developmental Skills.
  • Dedicated, passionate, hard worker.
  • Able to function under pressure.
  • Able to live and work on a remote Island.
