The incumbent develops and executes communication strategies to enhance the ICT Authority’s reputation, manage media relations, support stakeholder engagement, and ensure consistent, impactful messaging across all platforms.

 

JOB PURPOSE:

The Manager, Corporate Communications is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that enhance the organization’s reputation and drive internal and external stakeholder engagement. This role will deliver impactful communication campaigns that support the ICT Authority’s (ICTA’s) goals and objectives while ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the development and implementation of a comprehensive corporate communication strategy.
  • Coordinates press conferences and media briefings.
  • Manages the ICT Authority’s (ICTA’s) Website.
  • Conducts media training for executives and spokespersons.
  • Leads crisis communication planning and response efforts.
  • Identifies potential risks to the organization’s reputation and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Leverages data analytics to track the impact of communication activities on business outcomes.
  • Conducts regular audits of communication channels for consistency and accuracy.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate communications.
  • Experienced in creating and implementing social media strategies.
  • Experienced in content creation, editing, and publishing across different channels.
  • Experienced in employee communication techniques.
