The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources plans and programs are realized.


Job Function:

  • Directly responsible for strategic development and guidance of the overall human resources function, the Human Resources Manager formulates and administers programmes for the recruitment, retention, development, succession, assessment, and compensation of talent to meet the Bank’s business needs. This includes consistent benchmarking of compensation and benefits against agreed peer groups and assessing the workforce complement to routinely realign resources with changing enterprise needs.
  • This role is responsible for the formulation and implementation of policies and procedures to guide operations of the Human Resources Department and participates in enterprise-wide policy initiatives as a member of the senior management team. The management of employee and industrial relations are key components of the job function.
  • Oversee key performance metrics of enterprise talent and guide the ongoing assessment, development, and implementation of human resource and compensation systems required to promote efficient corporate-level workflow.


Job Requirement: 

  • Master’s degree in human resource management or a behavioural science or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary-level institution.
  • Expert experience with designing and maintaining staff regulations in diverse workforce environments.
  • Sound knowledge of labour legislation.
  • Expert knowledge of industrial relations theory and practice.
  • Expert knowledge of performance management theory and practice.
  • Seven (7) years managerial experience in the field of human resources.
  • Excellent analytical skills required to develop and interpret performance metrics.
  • Exceptional IT skills to assist with identifying and implementing automated workflow solutions.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills required to plan, monitor and integrate all human resource activities, and to liaise with and guide other department managers and supervisors in the execution of human resource management functions.
  • Excellent human relations, communication, interviewing and negotiation skills required to supervise departmental staff, handle industrial relations matters, counsel staff and resolve human resource issues across the Bank.
