PATHOLOGY I (9 CREDITS): This course introduces students to the cellular systems of each organ, emphasizing morphological changes associated with disease. Topics include cellular responses to injury, inflammation, neoplasia, and immune pathology, supported by gross and microscopic specimen studies.
PATHOLOGY II (12 CREDITS): This systemic course builds on concepts from Pathology I, focusing on the pathologic basis of disease through a physiologic system approach. It covers red and white cell diseases, and diseases of the genital tracts, kidneys, and liver, emphasizing clinical diagnosis and case presentations.
