The Patient Experience Coordinator will provide oversight and coordination of the Customer Experience Department.


  • Is accountable for all phases of Doctors Hospital Customer Experience Strategic Goals including planning, directing, prioritizing, implementing, analyzing and reporting
  • Implements, executes, and hardwires evidence-based, prescriptive tools, tactics and techniques to improve clinical, operational, and service excellence
  • Assists to increase the hospital’s performance by introducing and implementing new clinical programs and utilizes better practices to improve the patient/family experience
  • Serves as an internal consultant by establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with leaders and caregivers at all levels in the organization in order to improve the experience of the caregiver, physician and patient/family
  • Assesses customer’s needs and makes plans for their short and long-term health-related goals
  • Able to respond to situations including emergencies and other changing circumstances in a focused manner
  • Demonstrates the ability to provide counseling and debriefing for patients and relatives during and after traumatic events such as a code blue, an assault, or death
  • Completes reporting and analysis of metrics for satisfaction surveys, complaints etc
  • Coordinates effective airlift process for local and international patients
  • Performs special projects, studies and reports

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, Psychology, Social or Behavioral Sciences, or related field
  • Excellent Computer Skills
  • Licensed by The Bahamas Nursing Council
  • BLS & ACLS certified.
  • Minimum of 5 years nursing management experience or patient advocacy related work preferred
