Procurement Officer

The qualifications and experience requirements are as follows:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Procurement or a related discipline AND substantial procurement certification (e.g. CIPS, ISM or equivalent)
• Experience in a similar capacity would be an asset.

Key competencies required by candidates applying for any of the above positions:

• Experience in working with Multilateral Development Agencies, International and Local public procurement rules, regulations and guidelines;
• Strong analytical decision-making skills;
• Strong communication and reporting skills and ability to work in a team-oriented, dynamic environment;
• Computer skills, particularly in relation to inventory control software;
• Experience in working with the public sector or familiar with procurement regulations;
• Productive;
• Ability to execute instructions;
• Strong written and oral communication skills;
• Ability to work with minimal supervision;
• Meticulous; and
• Computer literate
