The successful candidate will conduct market and business analysis, coordinate product initiatives, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs and support the Bank's strategic goals.

 

Position Overview:

The Product Development Analyst plays a key role in identifying, evaluating, and supporting opportunities to strengthen the Bank's product portfolio. The incumbent is responsible for conducting research and analysis, coordinating product initiatives, and working with internal stakeholders to support the successful delivery of new and enhanced banking products and services. This role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and analyze customer needs to identify opportunities for new and enhanced banking products.
  • Support the development, testing, implementation, and launch of new products and services.
  • Gather and document business requirements and assist in preparing business cases and product proposals.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor product performance and recommend enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Ensure product initiatives comply with regulatory requirements, Bank policies, and industry standards.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to support product development initiatives.
  • Stay current on emerging payment technologies, digital banking trends, and industry best practices.


Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience in product development, business analysis, project management, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Experience supporting the development and implementation of banking products, digital banking solutions, or payment services is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make sound business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SQL, data analytics, or AI tools is an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of banking products, payment systems, fintech solutions, and applicable regulatory requirements is considered an asset.
