Registrar (Internal Medicine with special interest in Care of PLHIV)
Job SummaryThe Registrar is responsible for the delivery of care to adult persons living with HIV in both the outpatient setting at a community-based clinic and in the inpatient setting at the Scarborough General Hospital.
The Registrar shall also participate in and support the TRHA's efforts to train its staff in HIV awareness and care of PLHIV and ensure that the care delivered at the facility is in accordance with evidence based practice standards and appropriately balances the need for confidentiality/ privacy with the need to account for state resources.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Possession of a recognized post graduate degree or diploma in Internal Medicine and HIV/ AIDS treatment.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a facility/clinic specialized in the care of PLHIV
- Registration as a medical practitioner by Medical Board of Trinidad and Tobago
All external certification must have Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT) Certification
