Job Summary

This position reports to the VP Programme Management and is responsible for assessing business processes end-to-end and identifying opportunities for standardisation and efficiencies through streamlining or re-engineering of business areas.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:

  • partner with the business functions to analyse existing processes, assess the qualitative and quantitative impact of changes, and develop recommendations to support high levels of productivity and efficiency 
  • lead process design and project implementation teams in process readiness and process improvement activities 
  • participate in departmental strategic and budgetary planning processes and provide recommendations on policies and goals desired 
  • develop an understanding of the strategic goals of each business function, regulations, policies and procedures 
  • conduct root cause analyses and cost-benefit analyses and gather information for discovery stages via workshops, shadowing and interviewing 
  • develop and deliver training as required prior to the implementation of changes and update training plans, procedures and other organisational assets 
  • measure outcomes and deliverables following the implementation of process changes 

Your experience/skills may include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (business administration preferred) with a minimum of eight years’ relevant banking industry experience, including five years’ experience in project managing or executing/supervising an operational process or equivalent 
  • proven ability to manage projects of significant magnitude in terms of complexity, cost, time-constraints, internal and external staffing and equipment 
  • proficient knowledge of best practices in the finance industry, including familiarity with banking regulation and compliance 
  • excellent understanding of streamlining and process re-engineering and business change management methodologies 
  • experienced six sigma green belt or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) would be an asset or willingness to complete within the first year of employment 
  • excellent knowledge of Microsoft office suite including Visio 
  • ability to travel internationally
