Reporting to the Information Security Officer, the Senior Information Systems Security Analyst will act as a critical part of the information security team and assist in the protecting and securing of data stored electronically on the Bank's systems.

 

Job Function:

Core Functions:

  • Responsible for implementing new processes and procedures as identified by the Cybersecurity Operation Center (CSOC) and ISO to ensure continuous improvements to monitor, detect and mitigation capabilities.
  • Will work across several of the following domains, including but not limited to data security, incident response and analysis, IT systems and operations, network security, systems and applications security, disaster recovery, and vulnerability management.
  • Will assist in technical product evaluations, implementation programs and services relating to the Bank’s electronic information security, and support in providing comprehensive incident investigations of potential breaches of the Bank’s sensitive electronic data.
  • Will actively participate in industry information security groups and conferences, and perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirement:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with three years of Information Security experience.
  • Experience with common information security management frameworks, such as International Standards Organization (ISO) 27001/2, the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT).
  • Sound knowledge of information security policies, standards, procedures, guidelines, processes.
  • Experience working with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), SolarWinds System, Network Management tools, Vulnerability Scanning tools, network technologies and related segmentation strategies, and patch management (Microsoft Windows, Linux, applications).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive in overcoming barriers to prevent future issues.
  • Working knowledge of the security functions for standard workstation and server platforms (AS400, Windows NT, Windows 2000).
  • Working knowledge of communications protocols (especially TCP/IP) and associated security issues.
  • Sound knowledge of business continuity planning and disaster recovery planning.
  • Good project management and technical report writing skills.
  • Security certifications (CISM, CISA, and Security+) are a plus.
