Specialist Medical Officer - Urology
Job SummaryThe Specialist Medical Officer (Urology) is responsible for the administering of treatment to patients in the specialist field of Urology.
Duties include supervision of Junior Officers and coordination of the Urology service inclusive of inpatient and outpatient care as well as performance of Urological surgeries.
Minimum Training and Experience
- Possession of a Medical Degree from a recognized school of medicine.
- Minimum qualification in Urology should be at least a Doctor of Medicine (DM) Urology (UWI), OR FRCS Urology, OR FRCS General Surgery and a Diploma of Urology, OR Board Certification (USA) as an Urologist or equivalent qualifications.
- Registered with the Medical Board of Trinidad and Tobago as a Medical Practitioner and as a Specialist in the relevant field.
- Must have at least seven (7) years’ experience working in the specialty field of Urology.
