Teacher of Physics and General Science
Job SummaryWarwick Academy, an International Baccalaureate World School and member of the Council of International Schools, invites applications for Teacher of Physics and General Science.
An experienced Secondary school teacher is sought to teach Physics to the IB Higher/Standard levels and the I/GCSE years; and General Science to students in Key Stage 3 following the UK National Curriculum. In addition, the ability to teach Computer Science and/or deliver a Robotics programme will be favourably looked at.
Applicants should hold a relevant undergraduate degree aligned with the subject they will be teaching in addition to a professional teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) at the appropriate school level (Primary or Secondary) and be able to show recent teaching experience in the educational programmes offered at Warwick Academy (UK National Curriculum, IGCSE/GCSE, BTEC and International Baccalaureate; or equivalents). Applicants must be able to relate positively to students, staff and parents with proven external examination success being an essential component (where applicable). Candidates must also be prepared to contribute to the school's extensive co-curricular programmes.
