Job Summary

This position reports to the Technical Manager & System Architect and is responsible for providing primary onsite IT technical support, field service, and support of IT infrastructure systems in Bermuda.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:

  • supporting and maintaining hardware and software throughout multiple site locations
  • ensuring adequate inventory of spare parts for all Bank computing systems for minimal downtime
  • collaborating with Group IT members and technology partners to ensure timely delivery of IT systems to improve user and customer experience
  • assisting with the deployment or upgrade of hardware and applications
  • working with vendors, support partners and third-party support teams to resolve incidents as required
  • set up and testing of Disaster Recovery
  • assisting and providing support to ATM and POS teams as required

Your experience/skills may include:

  • an Associate’s Degree combined with a minimum of two years’ related work experience including experience with related technologies such as MS Suite, Citrix, Cisco, networking, Financial Service Systems, VC
  • MSCA, CompTia A+, Network+ is considered an asset
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to develop working relationships with internal clients providing reliable and consistent service delivery
  • ability to analyse, prioritise and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
  • ability to understand business impacts to help mitigate risks and unscheduled outages
  • must possess a valid driver’s licence and be willing to be on call for after-hours support and/or work overtime if required
