Territory Sales Manager

The TSM will be responsible for achieving volume and revenue targets; developing and maintaining market intelligence and helping to develop JAL’s commercial strategy.  The TSM will monitor sales of aggregates on a daily basis to ensure that the company maintain and grow market share.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market and sell aggregates
• Strengthen and grow customer base
• Develop, analyse and maintain market intelligence
• Network, build and maintain customer relationships internally and externally
• Build relationships with major stakeholders in the construction industry (e.g., architects, surveyors, contractors, engineers)
• Prepare price quotes
• Track job orders from its initial stage to completion
• Coordinate after sales service
• Produce monthly an ongoing commercial report

Results/Accountabilities:

• Volume and revenue
• Market share (industry) and share of wallet (customers)
• Accurate sales forecasting
• Market intelligence
• Collections

Minimum Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Accounting, Finance or other business-related degree
• Experience in a sales or market –facing function in the building materials industry (cement, concrete, aggregates preferred
• Strong selling skills and high analytical ability
