The incumbent leads strategic and operational planning, performance monitoring, and risk management for the AuGD, while also managing internal/external communications and public education initiatives to support organizational goals.

The Data Protection Officer is responsible for monitoring in an independent manner the Auditor General’s Department compliance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act.

The incumbent develops and monitors strategic plans, risk frameworks, and KPIs, while leading internal and external communications to support AuGD’s goals and ensure effective stakeholder engagement and public awareness.

The incumbent manages payroll processing and salary deductions, maintains earnings records, prepares reports and vouchers, updates HR and banking data, ensures compliance, resolves discrepancies, and handles salary-related queries.

To assist with the execution of training and development programmes for the staff to improve efficiency and productivity, in keeping with the mission of the Department.
