The incumbent develops organizational quality frameworks, oversees patient safety and internal audit functions, promotes compliance and risk awareness, and reports performance metrics to executive leadership and the Ministry of Health.

The incumbent is required to perform specialized technical design, development, testing and implementation duties for the information systems software of the Authority.

The Pharmacist processes prescriptions, compounds medications, provides clinical drug information and patient counseling, manages pharmaceutical inventory and safety logs, and participates in clinical rounds and staff supervision.

The incumbent supports compounding and medication preparation, processes prescription and ward stock orders, manages pharmaceutical inventory and expiry tracking, and maintains dispensing and recordkeeping documentation.

The incumbent is responsible for administering medical treatment to patients at a Hospital in the specialist field of Haematology. Work involves serving as Consultant to lower level Medical Officers and attending clinics and wards to treat patients.
