The incumbent conducts investigations of incidents in correctional institutions, examines records, interviews involved parties, ensures compliance with laws and standards, and contributes to policy, classification, and strategic planning.

The incumbent provides expert advice on border security, supporting PICA, JCF, and JDF in capability integration, strategy development, and inter-agency coordination on security and related matters.

The incumbent plans, implements, and monitors treatment plans for juveniles aged 8–15, addressing risk factors through family, school, and community interventions in coordination with parents and service providers.

The incumbent is responsible for planning, coordinating, directing the transportation operations and servicing/maintaining all vehicles owned by the Ministry in a cost effective manner and in alignment with the stipulated policies.
