The incumbent provides secretarial and administrative functions that offer support to the Director of Complaints and Investigators in accordance with established standards and procedures.

The incumbent conducts investigations into legal and policy breaches, gathers evidence and interviews witnesses, and prepares detailed reports with recommendations for the Commission.

The incumbent is responsible for applying statistical methodologies to a wide range of problems; develop and maintain databases, covering matters relevant to the Commission’s portfolio, in support of long-term planning; and strategic development.

The incumbent ensures accurate financial recording and reporting, maintains internal controls for payments and receipts, manages budget preparation and expenditure, and implements effective cash management systems.
