The incumbent supports patient care by assisting with daily living activities, recording vital signs, collecting specimens, and maintaining a safe, clean environment under nursing direction.

Under the supervision of the Multidisciplinary Intellectual Disability Team, the incumbent will be expected to provide ongoing support, daily care and assistance to persons with intellectual disabilities, in various homes across the island.

The Nursing Aide will work under the supervision of an assigned Staff Nurse and performs related duties necessary in caring for the personal needs, comforts and safety of the patients.
