The technician operates and maintains the hyperbaric chamber and equipment, assists with cleaning and documentation, manages supplies, and performs TCOM studies under supervision.

The incumbent is responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering programmes of therapy following referral from a physician, with the goal of facilitating the resumption of patients’ former life roles in a full or altered capacity.

The incumbent assesses patients, creates treatment plans, supervises support staff, documents care and progress, and meets productivity and documentation standards.
