The incumbent is responsible for assisting the public in all aspects of their interaction with the Authority as the first line of contact and also provide an effective and efficient communication system both internally and externally.

To provide general secretarial support services to the Regional Office, to facilitate a smooth functioning of the department.

Responsible for the collection and lodgment of all monies, the dispatch of cheques and the maintenance of petty cash imprest.

Under the direction of Senior Investigator, the incumbent conducts investigation of new applicants to determine their suitability to hold a firearm. Investigating complaints regarding the breach of any term or condition of the firearm authorisation.

Provides support to the Director Corporate Planning and Client Relations with the strategic management process and assist with the preparation and analysis of strategic and operational plans of the Authority.

To manage the forward planning process of the Authority in the development of its corporate and operational plans consistent with national policies and mandate.
