The incumbent develops, maintains, and updates the Authority’s website, intranet, and web-based software; ensures functionality, usability, and reliability; and supports users through training, troubleshooting, and documentation.

The Quality Control is responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing technical quality control processes and procedures to assess efficiency, validity, value and functional performance of computer systems and environments.

The incumbent leads strategic IST planning, policy development, and implementation to improve efficiency across the Authority. They oversee infrastructure, systems, security, training, and provide technical guidance to management.

Conduct a programme of certification or de-certification of applicants, Firearm Instructors, Firearm Ranges and Practical Firearm Training Courses.

Under direction of Senior Investigator, the post incumbent conducts investigation of new applicants to determine their suitability to hold a firearm. Investigating complaints regarding the breach of any term or condition of the firearm authorization.

Oversees financial operations, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance for all offices, ensuring accuracy, adherence to GOJ/FAA guidelines, timely submissions, and support for audits, payroll, assets, and general ledger maintenance.

To provide general secretarial support services to the Human Resource Management and Development Unit, to facilitate a smooth functioning of the department.
