The incumbent manages and coordinates fleet and heavy equipment operations, ensuring vehicles and machinery are roadworthy, cost-effectively maintained, and operationally ready through strategic planning and scheduled maintenance.

Under the direction of the Senior Accountant, Final Accounts and Reporting, the incumbent is responsible for the management of transactions to the general ledger thus ensuring that the financial statements are free from material misstatements.

The incumbent manages salary and payment processes, ensures financial compliance, supports internal controls and reporting, and oversees staff performance, development, and recruitment within the Financial Accounts Division.

The incumbent operates specialized vehicles to transport cargo or relocate trees, ensures equipment is roadworthy, performs maintenance, completes transport assignments, and maintains operational records.
