The incumbent supports organizational and systems reviews within the Customs Agency by analyzing workflows, gathering job data, recommending business process improvements, drafting job descriptions, and monitoring the performance management process.

The incumbent deploys and maintains workstations, diagnoses hardware and network issues, manages asset inventory, ensures security policy compliance, and coordinates vendor repairs to provide users with a functional IT environment.

The Network Administrator manages and configures the JCA's data, voice, and wireless network infrastructure across all locations, supervising operations and physical facilities to ensure continuous network services for core operations.

The incumbent reviews system requirements and prototypes, conducts independent software testing, assists and trains users in acceptance testing, performs post-implementation audits, and participates in project milestone reviews.
