The Soil Scientist researches soil composition to improve sustainable agricultural productivity, manages soil databases, provides technical and policy advice, and conducts training to promote best practices in soil management.

Under the supervision of the Director, Human Resource Development, the Senior Human Resource Development Officer organizes, co-ordinates and administers the training functions, delivers training and prepares reports on all training activities.

Under the supervision of the Senior Gardener (LMO/TS 4), the Gardener Assistant (LMO/TS 2) is responsible for the general maintenance of the Gardens and facility.
