The soil scientist researches soil composition to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability, provides technical advice and policy direction, manages a soil database, and conducts training for stakeholders.

The incumbent develops and implements training plans and budgets, manages training centers and computer labs, designs and delivers staff development programs, coordinates scholarships, and oversees unit staff performance.

The Data Protection Officer advises the Ministry on privacy regulations, oversees data protection compliance and security audits, leads breach investigations, and serves as the primary contact for data subjects and the Information Commissioner.
