Under the direction of the Senior Director, Strategic Planning, Performance & Risk Management (GMG/SEG 5), the Administrative Assistant (GMG/AM 3), provides administrative and technical support to the Branch.

The incumbent monitors and evaluates the Ministry's performance and its agencies, provides guidance to improve results, and contributes to strategic planning and business plan evaluations.

The Senior Director, Agricultural Policy Development & Evaluation leads the creation, analysis, and monitoring of agricultural policies, provides expert technical advice, and coordinates policy implementation across the Ministry and its agencies.

The Principal Director oversees strategic planning, performance management, risk assessment, and policy development for the Mining Portfolio, ensuring alignment across ministry departments and liaising with key government stakeholders.

The incumbent assists in planning, budgeting, and reporting while conducting scientific plant breeding research, managing trials and gene banks, and disseminating findings to farmers and agencies.

The incumbent manages all administrative and technical operations of the Plant Quarantine Unit, including program planning, resource management, staff supervision, and conducting research on pest prevention and control methodologies.

The Director, Industrial Relations manages all labor relations by developing policies, conducting research, maintaining harmonious relations, leading negotiations, and serving as the ministry's chief advisor on industrial matters.

Under the direct supervision of the Commissioner of Mines, the Technical Co-ordinator is responsible for providing technical support for the effective functioning of the Office of the Commissioner of Mines.
