The Groundsman provides advanced grounds keeping services, including the operation of basic equipment in maintaining grounds, facilities, and public areas in keeping with established locational standards.

The incumbent directs the commitment management and management accounting function by overseeing the GFMS inputs and maintaining rigorous control registers to ensure the Ministry’s expenditure aligns with voted provisions and warrant allocations.

The incumbent directs final accounts by managing the government’s financial management systems, ensuring the accurate accounting of warrants and appropriations, and facilitating the timely surrender of funds to the Consolidated Fund.
