The Director, Compliance and Quality Management leads the development and implementation of frameworks to ensure the Ministry’s adherence to laws, policies, and standards, while minimizing risk and supporting strategic objectives.

The incumbent ensures the Ministry’s compliance with the Data Protection Act by implementing governance frameworks, monitoring data practices, advising on legal obligations, handling data breaches, and promoting privacy awareness and training.

The incumbent supports the planning and execution of audit programmes, conducts risk-based reviews, assesses internal controls, supervises audit staff, and prepares consolidated audit reports for the Ministry and its agencies.

The incumbent is responsible for providing technical support to the Team Leader in the execution of financial, compliance and operational audits in compliance with government and international standards.
