The Southern Regional Health Authority (SRHA) invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Junior Resident at the May Pen Hospital.

The incumbent will be responsible for providing basic patient care, including hygiene, preventive skincare, feeding, mobility, range of motion and application of safety measures to all mentally ill patients and their families in the hospital.

The incumbent manages unit operations and nursing staff, oversees patient care quality and infection control, coordinates staff scheduling and resource budgeting, and directs unit-level administrative and educational activities.

Under the direct supervision of the Supervisory Hospital Attendant, the incumbent is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Hospital.

The Health Records Clerk, under the supervision of the Health Records Administrator, is responsible for organizing, implementing, controlling, and maintaining the patient information system to provide optimum patient care.

The Operations Manager develops operational plans and policies, ensures efficient service delivery, oversees quality assurance, manages hospital safety and resources, and participates in financial planning and audits.
