The Southern Regional Health Authority invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position Junior Resident (HPC/MO 1) (Radiology) at the May Pen Hospital.

Under the supervision of the Nurse in Charge, the incumbent will be responsible for providing basic patient care, including hygiene, preventive skincare, feeding, mobility, range of motion and application of safety measures to all patients.

Responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to the Chief Executive Officer in the general co-ordination of all aspects of the delivery of health care within the hospital.

The incumbent prepares nutritious meals, supervises and trains kitchen staff, ensures food quality and hygiene standards, manages inventory, and supports hospital functions while maintaining efficient kitchen operations.

The incumbent oversees hospital operations, projects, and resources at May Pen Hospital, ensuring efficiency, quality service delivery, financial control, compliance, safety, and staff performance in alignment with strategic objectives.

Coordinates contact investigating for the parish and ensures the necessary investigations and location sources of sexually transmitted diseases and suspected contacts are done. Performs related functions of treatment and counseling.
