To provide secretarial and administrative support to the office of the Permanent Secretary.

The incumbent drives the Ministry’s brand image by developing strategic messaging, marketing initiatives, and innovative approaches to strengthen brand presence across media platforms locally and internationally.

The incumbent leads strategic communication initiatives, policy development, stakeholder engagement, crisis communication, and outreach activities to align messaging and enhance the Ministry’s visibility and public engagement.

The incumbent supports the Senior Director by leading environmental policy and legislative development, ensuring alignment with international agreements, and providing technical advice to senior Ministry leadership.

The incumbent provides policy guidance, oversees environmental treaty implementation, and supports public education to ensure effective environmental management across the Ministry and its related agencies.

The incumbent provides strategic HR guidance, drives workforce planning and retention, and ensures alignment of human capital initiatives with organizational goals in accordance with GoJ HR policies and guidelines.

The incumbent is responsible for maintaining accurate ownership records, supporting land acquisitions and divestment for Ministry’s properties, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
