The incumbent manages the Housing Fund’s budgeting, accounting, and expenditure control, prepares reports, ensures compliance, provides financial advice, liaises with stakeholders, and oversees staff performance and fund utilization.

To have overall responsibility for the management of the Climate Change Branch and to institute an impeccable co-ordination and facilitation mechanism, including close co-operation with the Climate Change Advisory Committee.

To provide proper and timely reconciliation of the following bank accounts; Recurrent, Capital A, Capital B, Deposits and Salaries Bank Account.

To develop and manage the accounting of proceeds from Ministry Mortgage and Divestment portfolios and ensures the generation of appropriate financials.

To assist in payments and disbursement of cheques, effecting payment on priority basis given the status of cash flow at the point in time.

The incumbent is responsible for directing, co-ordinating and managing the divestment of the Ministry’s Housing Solutions, Compliance Monitoring and Community Development Programmes aimed at ensuring that purchasers obtain security of tenure.
