Under the direct supervision of the Oxygen Plant Supervisor, the Oxygen Plant Technician is responsible for the monitoring and management of the cylinder’s safety, handling and operations at all times.

The incumbent oversees daily plant operations, equipment maintenance, and quality control, ensures safety compliance, manages inventory, and supervises staff training and performance.

Under the direct supervision of the Oxygen Plant Supervisor, the Oxygen Plant Operator is responsible for safe, efficient and reliable operation, monitoring and basic maintenance of the hospital’s oxygen generation and distribution systems.

Reporting to the Senior Electrician, the incumbent is responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance and repairs such as the installation and replacement of lights, conduits; signage, and other fixtures and fittings.

Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Officer, the Artisan (General) is responsible for the carrying out minor woodwork, masonry and metal fabrication in the hospital and administrative facilities.

Reporting to the Manager, Maintenance; the incumbent is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing air conditioning and refrigeration units and systems.

The Senior Maintenance Officer manages daily maintenance tasks, schedules building and furniture repairs, enforces safety protocols, and supervises the artisan team to maintain hospital facilities.

The Electromechanical Technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance on hospital systems, inspects and tests equipment, reads blueprints, and installs, repairs, and calibrates mechanical and electrical parts.

The successful candidate is responsible for efficiently leading, planning and organizing the daily maintenance activities of the Unit through the scheduling and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
