Plumber

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures in various settings commercial, industrial, residential buildings and distribution systems to include water supply, drainage and sewage.
• Installation of piping, fixtures and appliances.
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing leaks, clogs and other plumbing issues to include sewer lift pumps.
• Performing preventative maintenance inspections and testing.
• Backflow prevention installation, inspections, testing and maintenance. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of plumbing experience.
• Background in facilities maintenance and construction.
• Strong understanding of plumbing components and repair techniques.
• Proper use of hand and power tools and personal protective gear.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, crawling, climbing and working in various conditions manholes, ditches and confined spaces.
• Adhering to safety protocols procedures and guidelines, company policy and procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to reside in remote work location with limited medical facilities.
• Valid U.S. passport will be required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Journeyman's Plumbing license with residential and commercial plumbing experience.
• Certified in Backflow Preventor repairs and certifications.
