Under the supervision of the Senior Research Fellow, the Education Outreach Officer is required to facilitate public awareness of Jamaican/Caribbean Cultural Heritage by planning and organizing educational programmes.

The incumbent manages Liberty Hall's publications and research, organizes educational events, conducts research on Marcus Garvey and Pan-Africanism, and oversees digital content and museum collections.

Under the direction of the Senior Research Officer-Entomology, the Zoologist is responsible for establishing the Zoology Department as a key resource centre for faunal research and education.

The Day Security is responsible for the safety of the patrons, staff, museum facility and artefacts at the People’s Museum, Spanish Town, St. Catherine.

The Research Officer is responsible for conducting ethnographic research on Jamaica and the Caribbean, with a major emphasis on African cultural retentions, and for presenting the findings in various forms.

Under the supervision of the Administrator the Secretary is to provide secretarial, clerical and receptionist support to the Division.
