To ensure that the area surrounding the museum is well kept for both visitors and staff

The Day Security is responsible for the safety of the patrons, staff, museum facility and artefacts at the People’s Museum, Spanish Town, St. Catherine.

The incumbent plans and coordinates educational and cultural programs, curates exhibitions, manages events and ceremonies, produces promotional materials, and conducts research to support outreach and heritage initiatives.

The incumbent oversees building maintenance by inspecting facilities, scheduling and supervising repairs, managing budgets and vendor contracts, and ensuring safety compliance.

The incumbent manages the subscription and distribution for three academic publications, handles financial and inventory records, oversees production and promotion, and ensures timely delivery and archival of all issues.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic person who can inspire and excite visitors to the Marcus Mosiah Garvey Multimedia Museum. To co-ordinate and monitor the activities of the Marcus Mosiah Garvey Multimedia Museum and assist with sales in the Gift Shop.
